Brittany brings a decorated college career and a worldly coaching perspective to Ascend. A forward and midfielder at the College of Wooster (2006–2010), she led the Fighting Scots to four consecutive North Coast Athletic Conference regular season championships and two NCAA Division III national tournament appearances. She earned All-NCAC honors in 2006, 2007 and 2009, added 2007 NFHCA All-Region recognition, and served two years as team captain. As a senior, she received the university’s Maria Sexton Award, which recognizes athletic leadership.

Brittany’s roots run back to Glens Falls High School in upstate New York, where she was a leading member of a program that reached the regional finals in 2002 and 2005 and the sectional finals in 2004. She was a three-time all-district selection in field hockey and a two-time all-district selection in lacrosse, and she also lettered in ice hockey.

Her coaching journey began as an assistant field hockey coach at Wittenberg University in 2011. From 2012 to 2022 she lived in Taiwan, where she taught English and served as an Area Manager overseeing ten schools in Northeast Taiwan for Hess International Education Organization. She also served as an inaugural coach for the Taiwan women’s lacrosse team. Since returning, she has coached JV field hockey at St. Anne’s-Belfield School, where she also works as Assistant Director of Admission.

Away from the field, Brittany loves being outdoors, whether she’s hiking, running, or enjoying the mountains, lake, or ocean. She cherishes time with her family and dog, loves to travel, and is always looking forward to her next adventure or a trip back home to Upstate New York.
