Esha brings a decorated playing career and a natural gift for coaching to Ascend. After playing at Freedom High School–where she was tabbed the 2019 Maryland Offensive Player of the Year, the Howard County Field Hockey Player of the Year, a MAX Field Hockey Mid-Atlantic All-Region First Team selection, and two-time First Team All-State and All-Howard County honoree–she took her talents to the University of Virginia. At UVA, she was a two-time ACC Academic Honor Roll selection. She was also a member of both the 2018–19 U.S. Junior Women's National Indoor Team and the 2019–20 U.S. Women's National Indoor Development Team.

Since graduating in 2024, Esha has built a coaching resume that belies her age. She has coached with Freedom HKY since 2021, transitioning to a full-time role in 2024–25 with their top U16 and U14 teams and leading both age groups to medals at the 2025 NITs, the 2025 NCCs, and JPOL Elite competition in Pennsylvania. She also coached at Covenant High School in the fall of 2025, bringing the same intentional, player-centered approach to every program she has been part of.

Beyond the field, Esha works as a medical assistant at UVA Orthopedics as she prepares for medical school, a path that speaks to the same drive and dedication she brings to everything she does. In her free time, Esha can be found running, seeking out new coffee shops, going on weekend trips with friends, or catching up on Love Island.
