Kristen brings a decorated playing career and a heartfelt commitment to athlete development to Ascend. She was a two-time state champion at Cox High School in Virginia Beach, went on to be a four-year starter and captain at the College of William & Mary, and earned NFHCA National Academic Squad honors and All-CAA Team honors, a record that reflects both her competitive drive and her dedication to excellence on and off the field. Her coaching experience is equally impressive in its range and depth. She has coached with the Virginia Beach Field Hockey League, served as a volunteer coach at Yale University, and worked as the middle school assistant coach at The Covenant School.

What sets Kristen apart is simple: she is every player's biggest champion. Her coaching philosophy is rooted in a genuine belief that developing the whole athlete–their confidence, resilience, and teamwork–matters just as much as anything that happens on the field. For Kristen, the most rewarding moments aren't the goals scored or the games won. They're watching her players carry what they've learned into their relationships, their schools, and the challenges life throws their way. It's a philosophy that makes her a natural fit at Ascend.

When she's not on the sidelines cheering her players on, Kristen–Head of Operations at Stacker Group–can be found trail running, painting, or going on outdoor adventures with her family.
