Lauren brings an extraordinary level of playing experience to Ascend–and she is just getting started. Currently, she is a standout defender at the University of Virginia and a U21 USA National Team member, with whom she recently competed at the Junior Pan American Games.

Her accolades speak for themselves: a 2023 State Tournament MVP, 2024 NFHCA Second Team All-American, 2024 Miss Field Hockey, 2024 Kentucky Player of the Year, ACC Defensive Player of the Week, and NFHCA National Academic Squad honoree. She has been playing field hockey for twelve years, and her passion for the game is matched only by her commitment to excellence on and off the field.

Lauren has four years of private lesson experience, giving her a natural ability to break down the game and connect with players at every level. There is something special about learning from someone who is living out their athletic ambitions in real time–and Lauren brings that energy to every session at Ascend.

Away from the field, Lauren loves the outdoors, cooking, pilates, coffee, and spending time with her friends.
