Maggie brings collegiate and national-level coaching experience to Ascend, built on a playing career at The Ohio State University, where she was a member of the varsity field hockey team. She began her coaching career in Ohio, serving as head coach of the Hilliard High School Field Hockey Club (2018–2019), JV head coach at Upper Arlington (2017), and coach with the Coyotes Field Hockey Club (2017–2018).

From there, Maggie moved into the college ranks. In 2019 she joined the staff at Boston College as second assistant, where the team won 15 games and made the first NCAA Final Four appearance in program history. She then spent five seasons at Dartmouth College, first as second assistant (2020–2022) and then as first assistant (2022–2024). Over the same period, she coached in the USA Field Hockey system as an assistant coach for the North Region High Performance program (2022) and for USA Nexus (2021–2024). Most recently, she was an assistant coach with Peak Field Hockey Club (2025–2026).

Maggie’s coaching philosophy is athlete-centered. She meets players where they are and helps them get where they want to go by asking good questions and giving clear technical and tactical feedback.

Off the field, Maggie loves camping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She and her 11-pound Morkie, Oakley, can usually be found on long walks or at the dog park. She’s also a big fan of football and lacrosse.
